Story

My sister Sophie has just taken on the role as Chair of Trustees for the Dyspraxia Foundation. You may not know but Dyspraxia is a condition very close to my heart, with my nephew Zak being diagnosed at the early age of 6.

Without the early intervention from professionals and the support my sister received from the charity, it could have been a very different story. Instead Zak has gone on to overcome missed developmental milestones and improve his gross motor skills beyond recognition, Sophie was told he probably wouldn't be able to ride a bike or tie his shoelaces! The lad now plays ice hockey, go figure!! And yes he can ride a bike and tie his own laces. He still has a daily struggle with fine motor skills, anxiety and low self esteem but one day at a time with baby steps he is getting there.

To celebrate these achievements I offered to run the London 10k to raise much need funds for the Dyspraxia Foundation. I'd be so grateful if could take time to sponsor me and help keep the much needed services of the Dyspraxia Foundation alive. Thank you 😊 x
