Thank you for your support - it means so much to me that the funds will go to help others affected by cancer. 

Like many, my life has been affected by a family member having cancer. Sadly at the age of 51 my lovely Mum lost her long battle with it & passed away leaving a huge gap in our lives. 

I have chosen to do all that I can in my life to make her proud & so this year I am running the London marathon in my Mum's memory. 

Running has been my go to for managing my grief, keeping healthy & having time to reflect, it reminds me why its great to be alive....its like therapy on the go! This year I want to use the energy that I have for running to raise awareness of the support that Macmillan offers others, as well raise funds so that they can continue to support families, like ours, who have been affected by cancer.
