I'm heading to Goa at the end of October to assist Mission Rabies with their rabies vaccination drive. For a third year , Mission Rabies is returning to Goa to continue their  rabies elimination work through mass vaccination of dogs,. Rabies takes 60,000 lives annually, a majority of which are children but is 100% vaccine preventable. By mass vaccination of local dogs, we are  providing lifesaving protection for stray, owned and roaming dogs and the human communities that they live alongside!

We'll be working in teams across assigned wards to achieve the 70% vaccination coverage needed to create herd immunity. Projects such as this benefit hugely from the time and efforts of their volunteers and any donations and fundraising they can provide.
