Kath was a founder parent of the Canterbury Oast Trust (COT) and spent over 30 years fundraising and promoting the excellent work they do. Kath always used to say COT gave Karen a quality of life that Kath never dreamed was possible when Karen was born.

All donations made in Kath's memory are going to the Friends of COT to enable them to continue to support the residents and tenants. They organise various activities throughout the year from discos, parties, holidays and days out.
