We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

I am doing the Ride 100 for the second time, having previously completed it in 2014. I'm hoping for a distinct lack of Hurricane Bertha this year, and hope to beat my very slow previous time of 7 hours!

I am riding this year for Brain Tumour Research (please see more below). A close friend's mum sadly passed away recently from an aggressive brain tumour, and I saw first hand the devastation this caused to the family. My boyfriend's grandmother also passed away from a brain tumour, and my nan had one and although she survived, went through months of trauma and misdiagnosis.

Therefore, this cause is very personal to me. Please donate what you can :)

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable! I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
