Fundraising for Saltmine Trust
Story
I’m taking part in the 2.6 Challenge for Saltmine Trust. Like so many charities (and theatre companies) across the UK Saltmine have been drastically impacted by Covid-19. The ban on mass gatherings, shut down of schools and loss of fundraising income impacts all our work and leaves us with an uncertain future.
Over the next 2.6 weeks I am going to be trying to learn the trumpet. Please follow me on what is going to be inevitably a highly embarrassing journey. The 2.6 weeks will culminate in a facebook live concert, which I am sure will be more hilarious than melodious, but I'm going to give it my best shot. I apologise in advance to all brass players (and also my neighbours).
I'm hoping to raise £260 (as it's the 2.6 challenge!) and anything you can give will be so greatly appreciated. Please help me keep the fantastic work of Saltmine alive!
