We have set up this JustGiving page as lots of people who are unable to make Dexter's charity ball on the 14th June 2019 have asked if they can still contribute to our fund raising efforts.

We feel extremely lucky to be where we are today.  After 3 and a half years of treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia Dexter will hopefully go on to lead a normal and healthy life.  50 years ago there was no treatment at all and it is only through the research Bloodwise have done, the survival rates are now so high.  However, the treatment is extremely long and is pretty horrendous at times.  No child should have to go through what Dexter has had to endure.  Dexter was on a trial funded by Bloodwise and it is through these trials Bloodwise will find shorter and kinder treatments for children who get diagnosed in the future.  Our hope would be that one day they can even find a preventative cure.
