Each week around 60 volunteers head out across our county to meet up with a young person and spend a couple of hours doing fun activities together. Mentoring provides such a brilliant opportunity for the young people of our county to feel valued, heard and respected.  I've worked for Mentoring Plus for almost three years and I'm inspired on a daily basis by how our community steps up to support young people who may be having a tough time. It's been a while since my last half marathon, so any funds raised will be hugely motivating to keep going on that second lap of the city!
