Story

kbbreview is taking part in the Vado Rally 2018 – a madcap four-day drive from Dover to Copenhagen in fancy dress and wacky car designs.

The stunt aims to raise money for the Rainy Day Trust and Variety the Children's Charity and more than 20 teams are signed up to take part between June 7 and 10.

At the last rally in 2016, over £65,000 was raised and organiser Vado hopes to smash that this year.

The rules are simple – each car must be road-legal but worth less than £500 and daily challenges must be completed in themed fancy dress.

The route takes in a ferry from Dover then to Copenhagen via France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden.

The kbbreview team, made up of sales and marketing manager Tara McTigue, Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms editor Lindsay Blair, account manager Henesh Chotai and events executive Deanna O’Reilly, will be updating their progress on social media and a daily blog.

“We’re so pleased to have the chance to take part in such a brilliant event as the Vado Rally,” said McTigue. “It’s raising money for such incredible causes and it’s also enormous fun, if not a little daunting. We hope the industry get behind us and sponsor us as much as they can, every penny goes to the nominated charities.”
