Honey Lock from Essex has Cerebral Palsy which for her means she can't walk unaided.

A few years ago Honey travelled to America for major life changing spinal surgery which removed the debilitating tightness from the muscles in her legs which we hoped would enable her to take her first steps.

After 8 months of intensive physio we were thrilled to see Honey stand unaided for the first time. After a further 6 months and hours of hard work on Honey's part she took her first independent steps.

2 1/2 years on, Honey can now walk around 40 steps indoors and she's progressed from a wheelchair to walking sticks.

While Honey gets one session every three months from the local hospital services, she needs four hours every week and further home or school therapy of six hours a week. She works incredibly hard and the results are really starting to show. While Honey is happy to work hard, all of this treatment is very expensive.

We can't thank you enough for your help and support this far, Honey is working so hard to make her dreams come true, it would be amazing if you could make a donation to support her on-going physiotherapy which costs around £8,000 per year and isn't available on the NHS. Without this her operation will have been in vain.
