During the 2nd year of my BSc in Zoology at Moulton College, I was lucky enough to secure a placement at Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital. They are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured and distressed wild animals and birds. Their ultimate aim is to release the casualties back into the wild where possible. They receive no government funding and rely completely on public donations.

I am passionate about wildlife and running so I thought i'd combine the two to help make a difference. On my 60th birthday (26th August), I will run 60km from Kettering to Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital and back.
