Whizz-Kidz Challenge 75 Your Own Way

Challenge 75 2021 · 20 September 2021 to 26 September 2021 ·
McKenzie has been luckily enough to receive 2 wheelchairs from Whizz-Kidz and also a power assist device. This has meant he has been speedier and can get around more independently.
As well as the wheelchairs, McKenzie has attended many many activities. He has driven a car, tried surfing and also indoor climbing walls. Throughout lockdown there were sessions at least twice a week which were music, quizzes, cooking, crafts and discos.
This years event for Challenge 75 is virtual, whilst we can’t be there we can still raise awareness and funds for Whizz-Kidz to help other young wheelchair users.
I am taking on Challenge 75 Your Own Way for Whizz-Kidz so they can continue to provide vital mobility equipment for young wheelchair users.Across the UK there are an estimated 75,000 young wheelchair users. All young people face challenges, but at Whizz-Kidz they know that for a young wheelchair user society can be that bit more challenging to navigate. The right wheelchair is more than just a set of wheels; it can be the key to unlocking a young persons potential. Whizz-Kidzs range of services give young disabled people the chance to lead a fun and active childhood while gaining vital skills and developing confidence and independence.
