Muscular Dystrophy is a condition that affects over 70,000 people in the UK. Myself included but this isn't just my story It's also my mum and brother, my brother and myself have been diagnosed with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy, FHL1 gene mutation commonly known as myofribillar myopathy.

My mum is the strongest person I know to not only deal with having Muscular Dystrophy herself and the changes that come with having Muscular Dystrophy but to raise and be there for my brother and myself through everything in our lives always putting her health on the back burner for us. You could say that both my mum and little brother are my superheroes. 


I have set up #TeamMuscleteers not only raise awareness and money for an amazing charity Muscular Dystrophy UK. They fund world-class research that I hope will lead to treatments coming forward that could benefit my mum, brother and myself, as well as the thousands of other children and adults affected by Muscular Dystrophy. they also help the thousands of families affected by Muscular Dystrophy.

Life living with muscular dystrophy is far from a walk in the park! There are many ongoing challenges, Helping support individuals and families living with different types of Muscular Dystrophy, please donate & help spread the word.
