I have not been on a bike for 20 years, when I signed up, I didn't even own a bike, but its got to be better than running a marathon, at least you are sat down eh!?!

When I first heard of the Ark Cancer Centre Charity, to build a Cancer Treatment Centre in Basingstoke, I wanted to get involved.  I have done little things, but this is 'big boy' time.

We have all had our lives impacted by Cancer, I have personally had family members and friends who have won and lost the battle and a centre like the Ark will help tip the balance of losers to winners.

The Ark have a target of £5m to build and I want to play my part, however small, so please give anything you can, every pound matters and follow my pain while I train for the riding through 4 countries in 5 days from Basingstoke, through France, Belgium and Germany, taking in our Twin Towns - 500 miles in all.
