On the 8th of August we will be taking part in a sky dive to raise money for Autism Together. Our aim is to raise awareness around Autism.

Each one of us have worked in Keys Group for over a year. During this time we have developed a huge awareness around the difficulties people with Autism must overcome in order to get the most out of life. Daily tasks that are considered the norm can be extremely challenging to those who are on the spectrum. Autism is a disability that affects how people communicate with people and experience the world. Diagnoses are on the rise and it is estimated that approximately one in every 100 children in the UK has autism there are another two children who have the condition but have not been given a formal diagnosis. Since working for Keys Group and integrating the young people we look after into the community we have realised that society needs to become more Autism friendly. By raising money taking part in a skydive we hope to raise awareness  and educate more people around Autism Spectrum Disorder.

For over 50 years Autism Together has provided support to people with autism and their families; offering a wide range of services tailored to the individual and their needs. We believe that every person with autism is unique and we will work with them to overcome difficulties autism presents them with, enabling them to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life. We provide support and guidance for the whole family including siblings and partners as well as employers and colleagues of someone with autism. Help us to continue what we do.
