We serve kids and families in Kibera to achieve their full God-given potential

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am eleven  and I have never had my hair cut. It is over 1m long and I have decided to cut it to raise money for the children of Fountains of Hope School, Kibera, Kenya, to go on a school trip.

Kibera is the largest urban slum in Africa housing over 170,000 people. I have been told that most people living in Kibera will never have the opportunity to see the wildlife of their own city. I would like to raise over £500 through my sponsored haircut to allow the whole of Fountains of Hope School to go on a trip to Nairobi National Park to see elephants, giraffes and other animals. It will also allow the school to purchase learning materials so that they can learn about the animals in class.

Please take time to sponsor me to give these children a trip of a lifetime.

I am hoping to raise the target by Easter.

Thank you :)

PS. The hair is being donated to Little Princess Trust (who make wigs for children who have suffered hair loss through cancer treatment)
