On 11^th November at 12 p.m, we at Kingston Barnes are going to embark on a 24-hour, 110km charity bed push around Queen Square, Bristol for St Peter’s Hospice!

St Peter’s Hospice support every single family in Bristol, by staying by terminally ill patient’s side when they need it most and their loved ones are not able to be there. This 24/7 care often goes unnoticed and is vital in giving those patients dignity and comfort when it matters most, and to make sure we represent everyone we’ll be covering 110km – the equivalent of all of Bristol.

To show our support for patients, end of life carers and families of Bristol, we aim to raise £2500 by pushing a hospital bed around Bristol for 24 hours, mirroring the fantastic support St Peter's Hospice provide.

A bit about St Peter's Hospice
St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All care provided is free of charge, but it costs around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money St Peter's rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and shops.
