Most people know that I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters but not everyone one knows that I have actually grown up with another brother - James Amison. James was born a few years before me but sadly passed away, the cause? Sudden Infant Death Syndrome or Cot Death. James was 3 months old, old enough for his Mummy and Daddy to get to know him and fill their lives with love.

James has always been a part of my life, not in a morbid, living in the past way (I never met him) but in a spiritual way. In my mind he has grown with me and guided me just as a big brother would.

The Lullaby Trust provides support for families who have lost children through SIDS, this support continues throughout their life and is invaluable. The Lullaby Trust also gives advice on Safer Sleep to promote healthy ways to out babies to sleep to minimise risks.

So I have set myself the challenge of trekking to the summit of Kilimanjaro to raise money for this amazing cause. If you can, please support me in is.
