I will be taking part in the 10 mile memory walk on 1st July at 10pm, to raise money for Kirkwood Hospice. I am walking in memory of my Grandma - Winifred Rogers.

I sadly lost my Grandma to an aggressive terminal illness just over 6 months ago. We were struggling to take care of her physical and emotional needs and were at a loss of who to turn to for help. Kirkwood Hospice stepped in and took control of the whole situation and gave my Grandma the most amazing care and support for her final weeks, for which I'll be eternally grateful.

The team are so caring, kind and thoughtful and will do all they can to make such a painful and exhausting time a little bit easier. They do all of this without hesitation, whilst treating all patients with consideration and respect.

I cannot thank The Kirkwood enough for the help they gave our family, during the most difficult time, and for the support they are continuing to provide in our bereavement.

I know times are hard and I really appreciate any support you can give me and The Kirkwood, so they can continue to offer such professional and empathetic support to patients and their families.
