Story

Thankyou for visiting my just giving page. After a bit of a spur if the moment decision here we are!

I say we because this is going to be as big a challenge for Boris as it will be for me.

I've had him since summer 2014. Every few months I say to myself "I want to do

My confidence isn't what it used to be. I had 6 years off riding due to having my son and no horse, then jumped in and bought a ex racehorse less than a year off the track...as you do! Our first attempt at a ride ended up with me in a&e with broken ribs. Not the best start! Pretty safe to say this is the root of my nerves.

We've come through it slowly but we have lots of moments still. I've only just reached the point where I can get on him without thinking too hard. I've never taken him anywhere 'excitable' nor really ridden with distractions or other riders because I worry I won't be able to stay put if he throws out some moves.

Our flatwork has a lot to be desired. Our jumping has been limited to poles and can be messy. Quite frankly once we go above 2ft I poo my pants a little bit. Cross country? Well I have no idea because we haven't done it but I've only ever ridden one round on a experienced horse. Boris freaks out at a twig...and water. A ODE isn't even on our radar at the moment! The thought makes me feel a little bit sick....but we can do it!

I'm hoping that the wobbleberry challege will give me a push to get us both out there and dare I say braver?!

And what better reason to find some balls than to raise money for a such a amazing charity!

Hannah is a inspiration to many including myself x
