I am running this half to challenge my mental wellbeing and to raise money for a solid and worthwhile cause. The thought of sleeping on the street or in a tent beneath an underpass, in the freezing cold is frightening. The fact that anyone is in this position when the rest of us are warm and cosy at home?? Mental. Sponsor me a few quid please. Not just coz it’s nearly Christmas or because it’s nearly new year and being charitable is a resolution. Do it because you care. And because putting a roof over someone’s head for the night makes a difference. Knowing you did that (by watching me claw my way across the finish line) is what humanity and unity is about.
