We are supporting the hard work and time that goes into training up a dog to become a guide dog. It costs £55,000 per dog to get the training that they need in order to offer someone with sight loss the independence that they so very much need and want. A guide dog is a life changing addition to any person who has sight impairment. There are not enough trained dogs currently to help the number of people in Leeds alone who are currently feeling like prisoners in their own bodies.
