Story

The members of Red Watch at Scarborough Fire Station are taking on a 2 day challenge. Day 1 will see the band of merry men jump onto mountain bikes, and set forth from Scarborough Fire Station towards the Lion Inn on the summit of Blakey Ridge. Along the way they will encounter various different and challenging types of terrain and complete an epic 50 miles before resting their tired bodies at the Lion Inn. Day 2 sees us pull on our unnecessarily tight lycra to mount road bikes and cycle to Whitby Fire station covering approximately 20 miles. Once at Whitby we will change into something more comfortable to complete the final stretch of our challenge, a further 20 mile walk back to Scarborough Fire Station. All in all a gruelling 2 day challenge, which will not only challenge our bodies but our mental strength too.
