Many of us have felt the fear of cancer or have had to come to terms with its effects.

A world leader at identifying cancer genes and discovering new targeted medicines the Institute of Cancer Research, London (ICR) is where I work alongside the world’s superheroes who help cancer patients spend more precious time with their loved ones for longer. 

Not only do I work here with pride, I've been training my city limbs to trek and climb Side Pike and Lingmoor Fell in the Lake District to raise money for the ICR.

In its 13th year supporting the ICR Stephen and I will join the Climb of Life - a community of loyal and long-standing ICR supporters to complete various treks differing in distance and elevation. A donation from you will not only help us push through the physical challenge but overcome mental distractions of all kinds.
