It's my 25th birthday! I want to support a charity that means something to me, so I'm aiming to raise £100 for Initiatives of Change.

When I was eight years old (2001), my parents took me to the Caux Forum, run by Initiatives of Change in Switzerland, where I took part in creative workshops and discussions, and made connections with other people of different ages and backgrounds from around the world. I was inspired by being part of such a diverse group of people, and being included in the same activities as the adults.

I have been to many more Initiatives of Change events since, and I still feel inspired each time. I have been directly affected by their trust building work, and made the decision to forgive rather than hold grudges, as well as to be more honest, and actively listen to others.

For the past four years I have been working for Initiatives of Change in the UK with three of those years as their Digital Designer.

I have made so many strong connections through Initiatives of Change, and always feel really welcome, so I would now like to give something back by raising money for them.
