Despite my fear of heights (!) I have decided to sign up for Wing Walk to raise vital funds for an incredible charity, East Cheshire Hospice. 

On the 26th July 2021, I will be standing on the top wing of a 1940's biplane and will then be whizzed around the skies above Gloucestershire. 

I work on the In Patient Unit as a Staff Nurse and I have seen firsthand how much of a difference the hospice makes. It provides care, comfort and compassionate support to patients and their loved ones and aims to improve overall quality of life with practical assistance, emotional and spiritual support.

East Cheshire Hospice receives only 17% of its running costs from the Government so fundraising is absolutely crucial so we can keep the doors open and continue to provide specialist palliative care. 

I will be forever grateful for any donation that is kindly given to support this wonderful hospice and to spur me on with the Wing Walk!
