Hi everyone! 

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. 

This April I will be leaving to hike the Pacific Crest Trail! This will take me approximately 5-6months to complete and will cover and massive 2650miles! I will start at the border of Mexico and pass through California, Oregon and Washington before reaching the Canadian border!  The trek will cover deserts, forests, snow covered passes, alpine ridges and many mountains! On my adventure I am likely to come across many challenges and obstacles including; rattlesnakes, coyotes and even bears! 

The reason I am doing this trek is to raise money for a very important cause. The Mid Essex Charity Foundation is currently looking to build a therapeutic  garden for individuals living with dementia to enjoy. Therapeutic gradens have the potential to reduce the level of stress put on individuals with dementia when they are admitted to hospital. 

The garden will be a place for patients to visit and freely walk around to get away from the clinical environment. There will be a variety of flowers and sensory experiences for the patients to enjoy as well as interactive group therapy.
