I will be doing a 32 mile walk on 24th June, starting in Newry and finishing in Monaghan.  This will take me around 10-11 hours and will be non stop. 10.00am to 9.00pm

The Reason:

As some of you know I lost my younger sister just over 6 years ago, she was the most amazing person, full of life and laughter on the outside but so deeply troubled on the inside.

Catherine suffered from a really young age with mental health issues which led to addiction later in life.

In March 2015 she became homeless and on 19th March 2016 she lost her battle with her mental health, addiction and the streets.

The Welcome Centre played a massive part in not only her life but my life also.  They were my life line to her at any given time day or night, I will always be indebted to them and will always strive to raise funds to help them continue the great work they do for their other services users.
