Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So after last year's success we are going ahead and doing it all again.

August 4th 2019 there will be a charity football game to raise suicide awareness and prevention  teams will be made up from local lads and maybe a few cameos from special guests if all goes to plan.

The game will again be hosted at Stocksbridges look local stadium.

Last year we set the target at £500 which we blew out of the water with over £4000 raised.

We have set the target at £1500 this time around so let's see what we can achieve

We are looking at making a family fun day this time around with bits of entertainment for all.

Last year I did this event to honour a friend who sadly took his own life.

I was humbled by the support we all received in the build upto the game itself and shocked at how many people have similar stories of losing loved ones.

So please any contribution big or small will make the world of difference in tackling the stigma around mental health.
