Story

WE HAVE PASSED OUR TARGET, WELL DONE EVERYBODY !!!!!

But please keep on giving. Every Penny counts.

I would like to say a massive thank you for all the huge efforts that have been put in to raising this money for a very worthy cause. Early mornings, sometimes horrible weather...but i know deep down you have all had fun and feel a massive sense of achievement...WELL DONE."The A Team"

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In Sept 2009 I will be cycling from London to Paris in aid of Ataxia UK (http://www.ataxia.org.uk). I will be starting from Greenwich and finishing up at the Eiffel Tower.  It is going to be a really tough challenge, covering approximately 350 miles in 4 days.

Jennifer Davies is my Sister-in-law and she suffers from Cerebellar Ataxia, which is just ONE of a group of Ataxia neurological disorders.

Early symptoms include loss of balance and co-ordination which can make those affected appear unsteady when walking. As Ataxia progresses it can destroy mobility and independence.

Ataxia affects both adults and children and there is currently NO CURE !!!!

By raising money we can provide GP's with clinical guidelines which will help them to make an accurate diagnosis of Ataxia, fund vital medical research and purchase items that will go some way to making life easier to live for people with Ataxia

So please sponsor Ataxia UK now and not only help Jennifer but also the thousands of people who suffer from Ataxia in the UK.

Thank you

Leigh
