I’m walking the distance from Lands End to John O’Groats and tracking my progress online.  This virtual 1744.2 km challenge is my literal ‘roadmap’ through the COVID-19 pandemic.  Beat that Boris! 

I’ll be covering the same distance and tracking my progress online so can see where on the real LEJOG route I am.

I know that exercise, and having a specific goal to focus on, are key to keeping me moving forward physically and mentally, especially through this pandemic. 

MIND, and the people at my local Havant & East Hants Mind branch, have given me information over the years to enable me to find my place within my mental health diagnoses and feel less scared of what I was going through.

It can really, really suck and make you feel broken and alone when doctors throw scary diagnoses at you. The MIND website (www.mind.org.uk) is a great place to help navigate through mental illness and start the lifelong road towards recovery.
