Hi! I'm Sarah - if you know me, you'll know that I love crazy adventures (including sleeping in igloos and pedalo-ing over 600km). You probably won't be surprised to hear that I want to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats completely unassisted - camping, cooking and cycling myself nearly 1,000 miles from one corner of Britain to another.

However, you might not realise that this spring marks five years since my sister’s boyfriend (now husband) was given the precious “all clear!” from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. 

Helen & Will have held a few fundraising events for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research (including donation favours at their wedding) and I decided that my cycle ride would be a great way to help my brother in law to raise some more money for the charity that has helped him and countless others affected by blood cancer. 

On Sunday 19th April I'll be setting off on my quest to conquer Britain by bike. I'm aiming to cover an average of 70 miles per day, made all the harder with a fully loaded bike and no doubt some "lovely" English weather to keep things "interesting". I'm going to spend the next three weeks huffing and puffing my way up hills, risking life and limb speeding downhill, getting lost, struggling to walk properly, washing considerably less than is hygienic and getting attacked by foxes in my tent. In return, all you need to do is direct a few of your hard-earned pennies this way - I'll be doing all the hard work!
