They say that most people have a midlife crisis around the 40th mark……!

That makes me right on track, as this year for my 40th birthday year I have decided to set myself the ultimate challenge of trekking Yosemite and Death Valley National Park in aid of Camp Simcha, to appreciate everything that I have been blessed with.

Those of you who know me this is something totally out of my comfort zone, as the only moving I usually do is from the comfort of my car.

For those of you who are not familiar with Camp Simcha’s work, they improve the quality of life for children suffering serious illness. It does this by providing a range of 24/7 support services for the parents and powerful positive experiences for the children, including the siblings.

So this April Please God, I will be reaching new heights with a group of currently unknown adventurers. Climbing to the steep peaks and waterfalls of Yosemite and through rocky terrain in heat of Death Valley; with heights of up to 1,900 feet and distances of up to 11 miles a day.
