I've always loved running and in the last few years I have discovered I love swimming too, especially outdoors.

It was never my intention to do these 2 events so close to each other but COVID cancellations change things and here I am!

Swimming outdoors in cold water has been a lifeline for me in the last 12 months, I love the feeling of being in the water and the like-minded people I share those experiences with. I have done the Swim Serpentine 2 mile event twice now and I have loved it so can't wait for a third time!

Back in 2019, I was lucky to get a NHRR London Marathon place with the aim of raising at least £350 for Garden House Hospice Care. This will be my 16th marathon and I have run the London Marathon 7 times so at least I know the route!

I am not out for a PB, in fact my training has been less than ideal. However, I will do my best to keep on going and finish before sunset ;-)
