Whilst I am not a police officer my husband and I are both public sector employees, and no-one should go to work for their country in the morning and not return. The Nicola Hughes Foundation gives fantastic support to many children that otherwise may be lost in their grief.

For me the journey to Berlin has been challenge like no other I have endured, both physically and mentally. From 1st agreeing to take part I have battled with constant injury, however, despite this I have surpassed all my expectations, trained and determined to raise money for this worthy cause.. My mental strength and resilience will get me over the finish line, but will be made so much easier with your support; please  help make these long training runs and early mornings worthwhile,
