Why Acadia?

A long time ago I came to Maine to visit my brother while he was at Colby.  On that first trip, we visited Acadia and I've been back every year since.  On one of my trips, I met my husband in the park.  Years later he asked me to marry him on Sand Beach.  My daughter is a 5x Junior Ranger and knows the importance of conservation.  We explore the park each year as a family through Acadia Quest. 

Acadia will forever be a part of my life story.  I am so thankful to those who came before us who had the foresight and generosity to protect this special place. I try to walk in the footsteps of those giants like Mr. Dorr, Mr. Rockefeller, and President Elliot every day.
