St Gemma's hospice provides specialist care for people with life threatening illnesses. Many of you will know that they provided such care and support to mine and Lisa's close friends, Jenn and Tom, in those last days of Jenn's life. Singletrack article 

As I'm sure you can imagine providing this type of palliative care is costly, therefore I decided to try and do my bit to help them continue to provide this much needed care and support for other people at an extremely difficult time. 

Many of you will be aware that my hairy legs are well known in the northern cyclocross scene, and after Lisa's insistence for many years that I do not de fuzz, I thought that this is a perfect opportunity to do something (rather painful!) to raise money for St Gemma's, so here goes.. They're being waxed!

The event will take place at Garage Bikes, Leeds on Saturday December 5th in conjunction with their fundraising event.. I'll let them fill you in on those details!   Joolze  has kindly offered to capture my pain in pictures for you so you'll be able to revel in my discomfort knowing your donation was worth it.
