Story
You see the air ambulance up in the air all the time, and although I've never needed to use it I know many people whose lives have been saved due to it. ...So I thought I'd challenge myself -not so much to walk up a HUGE mountain but raise the money to help support DAAT. I know both aspects will be a challenge but with great friends, like Jackie who has helped me unfailingly, I know I can make it.
So please if you can spare the cost of a cup of coffee please donate and help keep the Devon Air Ambulance flying.
A bit about DAAT if you didn't know....
Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT) owns 2 helicopters and operates 7 days a week; as of autumn 2016 DAAT will extend its flying hours until midnight. Responding to approximately 1,400 incidents every year DAAT conveys patients to the specialist treatment centre most appropriate for their needs, giving them the best chance of survival. The service costs £5.5 million every year and DAAT is proud to be independent of Government and National Lottery funding, relying solely on the generous donations of the people, businesses and communities of Devon.
