Fundraising for Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter
Story
During this difficult time there have been heroes during this pandemic.
From the NHS, Care workers, Postman, Refuse Collectors, Fire
Service, Police, Military, Shop Workers, Delivery Drivers and Companies providing essential PPE and others manufacturing essential equipment to help the UK get through this.
Many people have raised monies for NHS Charities and what an achievement that has been. But as an animal lover I can not help but think of the local charities struggling to care for our furry friends. Small charities relying on us the public to raise or donate monies to provide the care they need. As I have rehomed several dogs and cats over the years I have decided to raise a little money for the Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter near Malvern. My challenge is to walk a minimum of 100km during the month of May.
W.A.R.S. rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, unwanted and
mistreated dogs and cats in the local area and find them their forever
home.
