Story

EVENT TIME : 6PM JUNE 17TH FINISHING 6PM JUNE 18TH

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

This Event is to coincide with Long Clawson Dairy's Centenary and our aim is to raise as much money as possible for charities in our local community which also have a wide reaching impact - helping many people.

This is all about 100 miles for 100 years - who know's we may hit £100k.

The team will be running 100 miles from Long Clawson Head Office and back again returning to the Village Hall in Long Clawson but going via Stilton in Cambridgeshire.  Peter Tinsley, Packing Administration Manager at the Dairy will be taking on the task of running the whole 100 miles and he's hoping to do it in just 24hours - commencing 6pm on June 17th and finishing at 6pm on June 18th.  Many members of staff will running with him along the way but Pete will be the man on the 100 mile missiion.  The Long Clawson Village Hall & Recreation Ground is very close to his heart.  Pete is born and bred in Long Clawson and has worked at the Dairy for 41 years.  The money raised from this event will help to develop a shower and changing facility, allowing the Recreation Ground to become FA affiliated and it will also help with the building of ramps for the Skate Park.  This is a great facility for the local community and also something that will attract youngsters from other areas within the Vale of Belvoir.

Thanks for taking the time to look & thank you for sponsoring us if you've been able to.
