Story
We are going to scale the height of Kilimanjaro (5895m) in indoor climbing walls (about 10m each) over a month (or so). This will require about 600 climbs between us, which is a world away from our usual sessions at the Quay, which are mostly spent chatting and dangling on the rope. It turns out Kilimanjaro is really quite a big mountain, but we're prepared to take on this challenge for a good cause.
We've chosen Headway to raise money for because they are an amazing charity that offers support, advice and a range of services to adults with an acquired brain injury and to their families and carers. Their aim is to encourage, assist and support people with ABI to participate in activities that help them recover their independence and confidence and continue their rehabilitation.
Please donate if you can, this is going to really hurt our fingers!
