Story

I’m 10 and my Name is Lottie. In 2018 I lost my Brother Joshua to Toxoplasmosis and chestnut Tree House helped me say goodbye to my little Brother. I still visit once a year in the memory garden to remember Joshua.

I done my first Winchester Try Tri last year in 2020 and came up with a plan to do 2 children Triathlons yearly to raise money and awareness. I’ve been training with my local club Wycombe and school competitions such as Nationals cross country and swimming events and Winchester Try Tri this year 2022 before my event in July for Henley 2 day event of a Triathlon and open swim in Themes.

Chestnut Tree House is a children’s charity providing hospice care and community support for children and young people with life-shortening conditions. There are hundreds of children and young people in your local community who are unlikely to reach adulthood. And even more parents and family members who need care, help and support on their journey, as they do not know how long they will have together.Your help enables families to spend time together. Precious moments that give a lifetime of memories.

About the charity

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.
