My Grandad is called Graham Makin. He died on 28th December 2017, aged 73. In October 2016 he found out he had terminal cancer, caused from working with asbestos, called Mesothelioma. My grandad didn’t want to die and couldn’t bear the thought of leaving my Grandma. He had 6 months of chemotherapy, followed by trials at Leicester. He never gave up and fought it right until the last week.

I want to help Grandad continue to try and find a cure. 

I am doing a 35 mile walk across Dartmoor to raise money for charity.
