Story

This page is a small gesture to remember our darling Kerry who lived a life full of love until the young age of 30. An incredible mother, an adoring wife, a beautiful daughter, an inspiring sister and a wonderful friend.

In July 2012, Kerry suffered a severe brain haemorrhage due to a ruptured aneurysm that nobody knew she had. The incredible staff working at Addenbrookes on The Neurosciences Critical Care Unit and subsequent Neurosciences wards - the surgeons, the doctors, the nurses, the cleaners, the singing lady handing out meals - gave Kerry the best care possible as well as being so supportive to all of our family and friends.

We would like to thank all of these incredible staff members by supporting Addenbrookes Charitable Trust (ACT) to help them continue to provide such high levels of care and support. Please dig deep and give generously xxx

Kerry never really believed it, but she inspired a lot of people in a lot of different ways.

She had a wonderful marriage, built a beautiful family and dedicated her life to teaching and writing. As well as being an inspiring mother, one of Kerry's greatest skills was promoting the joy of learning - she could find a way to help anyone learn, even when they didn't believe they could. Kerry was so positive and always gave her time, even when rushed off her feet with three little ones and simultaneously keeping her multiplemummy.com blog going and working on science-sparks.com !

It is an understatement to say that Kerry had the kindest and strongest heart, it is undeniable to say her heart touched us all.
