Addiction and mental illness can destroy families, communities, careers and even lives. There's a lot of stigma surrounding these issues and that stops the open discussion of the problems and can even stop people from receiving the help that they need. Thanks to charities like Addaction, there is help out there for these people when they decide they're ready. For someone struggling with any form of addiction, it can be incredibly isolating.

The reason I chose Addaction was because they understand the importance of taking someone's entire situation into consideration and not just the addiction.

With this in mind, I've taken a subject very close to my heart and decided to do something. 

I have put a deposit on my first ever tandem skydive and hoping to raise as much money as possible for a great charity. I'd appreciate any donations, big or small!
