Lynn, Susan & myself (Marian) met 4 years ago and became firm friends after embarking on a life changing challenge, trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru.  Over the intervening years we have continued to raise money and awareness of MND, but we have now decided the time has come to embark on a new challenge!  That challenge is to trek to the summit of Mt Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

 

Our aim is to raise as much money as we can to support awareness and research into motor neurone disease.  Sadly Susan lost her mum Marie Maughan, to motor neurone disease some years ago and we are doing this in memory of her and all the people who have passed away through this dreadful disease. 

 

So please dig deep and sponsor our efforts in raising funds for the extremely worthwhile charity.  Every penny counts in the fight to find a cure for this destructive and fatal illness.
