We decided quite early on in the wedding preparation process that we don't really need any gifts from our lovely guests...we're just very glad that they will be attending to witness our big day!  

But we do understand that people do like to give gifts on the occasion of a marriage, so we thought it would be a nice compromise to ask guests to give a donation to Maddi's Butterflies.  That way someone else can benefit :-)

Maddi's Butterflies is a charity which is very close to our hearts.  The charity works tirelessly to make the lives of children undergoing cancer treatment better, by providing small gifts and wishes.  In addition, families affected by childhood cancers are able to enjoy much needed breaks in the charity's caravan at Haven, Marton Mere in Blackpool.

The charity needs funds to be able to continue to grant the wishes as well as keep the the caravan going for families to use.  Therefore it's imperative that the charity receives regular, ongoing donations, as well as special one off amounts like this.
