Story

Finally, after 3 months of my housemate Gabbie banging on about the Trek to Machu Picchu, I finally gave in. Jokes aside, I realised that by doing the trek, I would be embarking on a life changing experience, unlike anything I have ever done before, but also I would be raising money for an amazing and invaluable charity, Hope for Children.

The trek consists of 6 days trekking through the Salcantay trail to Machu Picchu, up to a height of 4700m, climbing nearly 2000m. So, it will be a bit of a challenge!

To begin this challenge I have set myself an ambitious fundraising target of £3340 to achieve  by May 2020. All the money raised will be going Hope for children, a charity which has inspired me by the amazing work they do, helping children all over the world by doing incredible things such as providing education for children in poverty and helping those with life threatening illnesses.

So, to support this amazing cause.. any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated, even by spreading the word of Hope for Children, you can have a massive impact.

Thank you for your support!
