Please dig deep & donate to beautiful 'Maisies 'Yellow Brick Road'. Every penny really will make a difference.
'Lets Do It Anyway Charity' has promised Maisie they would help with the funding of her 'Yellow brick road' Garden this year. The aim is to make Maisie's garden a happy, relaxing & safe place to be, with easy access.
Maisie's Mum Dawn Lossau told us about Maisie & her heart wrenching story....
"Maisie is a beautiful bright 11 year old girl but in January 2016 this year our world fell apart when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour in her brainstem. She then underwent a 7 hour operation in Addenbrookes to remove 'bob' and they successfully removed 80% of what was a low grade benign Pilocytic Astrocytoma. Unfortunately despite the surgery going well, Maisie suffered complications and 6 hours later was placed into a ccoma following a collapsed lung. When she came round despite the fact she could feel all of her body, she couldn't move from the next down. She then had a tracheotomy to assist with her breathing and to strengthen her lungs. The following months brought us days of uncertainty and a fear of the unknown.....but gradually Maisie started to regain some of her movements, hands, arms, legs. She remained in Addenbrookes for 8 months and continued to make brilliant progress"
Maisie's battle continue and through it all she smiles. How brave is Maisie and her family, I'm sure you will all agree, so deserving of a beautiful garden.
The make over will start in June, so please dig deep and donate any amount you can, every penny really will make a difference.
On behalf of 'Lets Do It Anyway Charitable trust' Thank you so much.
