The Poetry Society is raising funds for the refurbishment of the much loved Poetry Café in Covent Garden.  I have read there a couple of times (you can see the photo above of with the Stanza groups I read with!) and the improvements will be significant.

The works will update and improve access, increase the capacity, provide new heating and ventilation, and acoustically separate the basement venue from the café ground floor.  Every aspect of the visitor experience will be improved, providing a home for poetry for years to come.  The Poetry Society is close to reaching their fundraising target to complete the work - but they need your help for the final 10% of the target.  Any help you can give is very gratefully received.  Funds raised will go to support the work of the Poetry Society.  And come along to some events!
